Privacy Policy

UpDown Charts (“we”, “us”, “the Service”), available at updowncharts.com, provides real-time visualization of publicly available market data for Polymarket UP/DOWN prediction markets. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: support@updowncharts.com.

Information We Collect

• Account data (via Clerk). When you sign up, our authentication provider Clerk stores your email address, authentication identifiers, and, if you use a social login, the basic profile fields that provider returns. We use Clerk to authenticate you; we do not store your password.
• Subscription & payment data (via NOWPayments). Payments are made in cryptocurrency and processed by NOWPayments. We never see or store your wallet keys or full transaction credentials. We store only the plan you bought, the billing interval, the payment status, and your subscription period end date.
• Analytics & advertising data (via Google, consent-gated).If you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads may store and read identifiers and collect standard measurement data such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device/browser details. Before consent, analytics and advertising storage remain disabled, but Google Consent Mode may send limited cookieless pings containing consent state and basic measurement metadata (see “Cookies and Consent”).
• Technical logs. Like most sites, our infrastructure records basic request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for security and reliability.

How Your Data Is Stored

Account and market data are stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. Authentication is handled by Clerk. Payment processing is handled by NOWPayments. Each provider maintains its own security and privacy practices.

Cookies and Consent

We use Google Consent Mode v2 with a region-agnostic default of deniedfor analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization. No analytics or advertising cookies are set until you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. In this advanced consent mode, Google tags load with storage denied and may send cookieless pings used for aggregate measurement and modeling. Your choice is stored locally in your browser under the key consent-v1and can be changed at any time with the “Cookies” control in the site footer. Essential cookies required for authentication (set by Clerk) are used regardless, as they are necessary to operate the Service.

How We Use Data

• To provide, secure, and operate the Service and your account.
• To process subscription payments and manage entitlements.
• With your consent, to measure usage and the effectiveness of our advertising.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the processors that run the Service: Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), NOWPayments (payments), and Google (analytics/ads, subject to your consent). Each acts under its own terms and privacy policy.

Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Aggregated market/tick data is retained on a rolling window for the Service's functionality. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing us.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw analytics/ads consent. To exercise any of these, email support@updowncharts.com.

Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. See also our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
