About UpDown Charts
Last updated: July 2026
UpDown Charts is a real-time tick chart service for Polymarket UP/DOWN markets. Polymarket shows you the current order book; it does not show you what the underlying price was doing tick by tick against the price to beat, and it does not keep that history in a form you can query. We record it and keep it.
What we cover
28 markets: seven assets — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin, BNB and Hyperliquid — each on 5-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour and 4-hour windows. You can browse all markets for live prices and epoch history.
Every market is recorded from five pooled sources: Binance, Pyth Hermes, Chainlink, the Polymarket CLOB order book, and the price-to-beat endpoint. Tick-level data is retained for 90 days, and every epoch carries its price to beat, close, outcome and final volume. Not every source covers every asset — HYPE has no Binance or Chainlink feed, so those series are simply absent from its charts.
How resolution works
A market resolves on price alone: if the close is strictly above the open (the price to beat) it resolves UP, and every other case including an exact tie resolves DOWN — see what a Polymarket up or down market is for the full mechanics.
Programmatic access
Premium accounts get a REST API and a hosted MCP server over the same data set: the market catalog, paginated epoch history, full tick series per epoch, and a live snapshot per market. Keys are udc_ Bearer tokens, rate limited to 100 requests per minute and 50,000 per day. The API and MCP reference documents every endpoint, parameter and field. Plan details are on pricing.
